Talk Guard

Call and voice recorder
From a loose idea to the App Store, with a discovery sprint first. 100,000+ downloads and a 5-star average rating.
We build iPhone apps in Swift and take them through App Store review, with subscriptions, widgets, audio, offline mode and Siri when your app needs them. A first version typically costs $5,000-15,000 and takes 2-4 weeks, plus review. 20 of our case studies are native iOS apps, including Talk Guard with 100,000+ downloads. Clients rate us 4.8 out of 5 on Clutch from 70 reviews.
iPhone features we have built for clients, and the apps that use them.
Free and paid plans through Apple's in-app purchases. Ginger Snail sells paid subscriptions to law students, and Post&Card unlocks extra features with a subscription.
Toolks gives people 500+ widgets for the home and lock screens. We rebuilt its whole interface in SwiftUI.
Talk Guard records calls and voice. Altfast trims silence out of long recordings on its own, and BeatBit lets people make and share ringtones.
Alertly runs fully offline. Akler keeps its whole dictionary on the phone and pulls in new words at the next login.
Siri reads words aloud in Akler, so people learn how they sound. Dusfer works with iCloud, Apple ID and the iPhone Calendar.
EasySpk is a keyboard that works in any app. Alertly gets around the iOS rule that stops apps from starting alarms.
If you need only iPhone, or the app leans on Apple features, we write it in Swift. If you need iPhone and Android from the start, we build one app for both stores.
| Option | Fits when | Apps we built this way |
|---|---|---|
| Native iOS in Swift | iPhone comes first, or the app needs widgets, a keyboard, audio, offline mode or other Apple features | Talk Guard, Toolks, Akler, Dusfer |
| React Native for iPhone and Android | You need both stores from one codebase, for example on top of a web product you already run, as Traza did | Traza, Guestroom |
| Flutter for iPhone and Android | You need both stores from one codebase, for example to replace an old app, as HealthyNikah did | HealthyNikah, LEV, Kosmo |
You see a demo every week and can change priorities. We plan for App Store review from the first screen.
| Step | What we do | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Scope and design | We agree on your users, the main task and what waits for later. Then we design the main screens. | A written scope and screens you can click through |
| Build | We build the app in Swift, or in React Native or Flutter for both stores. Sign-up, payments and the admin panel come from ready-made modules. | An app you can test on your iPhone |
| Testing | We test each feature and fix what breaks before your users see it. | A build ready for review |
| App Store review | We send the app to review early, because Apple review can take one to two weeks. If your Apple developer account is still waiting for approval, we can launch on ours. | Your app on the App Store |
| After launch | We fix what users report and plan the next release around what they do. | A plan for the next release |
Many of our iOS projects started with someone else's code. We look at it first, then decide what to keep.
Toolks reached us halfway built by another team. We redesigned it in SwiftUI and finished it.
A discovery sprint showed that Dusfer's old code wasn't worth keeping. We rebuilt the planner from scratch.
Keep&Mind came with a previous team's code and a cut budget. We delivered its mind map editor on time and on budget.
