AI Project Estimate

Fintech app development services for web and mobile

We build fintech apps for web and mobile: payment platforms, trading apps and fund management systems. AggloPay, a payment platform for merchants in Cameroon, went from first sketches to a working product in two months. It has 2M+ users across Africa. Grid Capital's web and mobile app for investors took six months, and a $100M fund runs on a platform we built for both regular money and crypto.

What these projects included

Every item below comes from the projects above. Your first release may need only some of it.

Payment methods

Merchants take mobile money, local and international cards, USSD, QR codes and payment links. Payments are checked with CVV, PIN, OTP and 3D Secure.

Merchant and admin panels

Merchants sign up and wait for admin approval, then see payment history with fees, schedule payouts and get reports. Admins set tariff plans.

Trading and portfolios

Investors buy and sell shares, follow portfolio value over time and read company statistics and analyst reports.

Transfers and cards

Money moves between a bank account and the platform. Users control their debit card, make deposits and see their transaction history.

Investor reports

Each investor gets monthly growth charts and PDF reports made with AI.

Login and security

Two-factor login, a list of signed-in devices, data sharing settings and login with Telegram.

Payment app development

A payment app has to take money the way people in its market already pay, get each payment to the right account and pay it out again. Two of our builds cover these jobs: AggloPay for merchants in Cameroon and Koncierge for brokers that take deposits in Japan.

What the app has to doHow we built itCase
Take the payments people already useApple Pay and Google Pay don't work in Cameroon. Merchants take mobile money, local and international cards and USSD, and payments are checked through Flutterwave, whose strict security checks took a lot of fine-tuning.AggloPay
Find who each payment belongs toDeposits land in bank accounts that many customers share. Each customer gets a payment reference for life, one katakana character and four digits, and the engine matches on it. Anything that doesn't match waits for a person.Koncierge
Let merchants connect onceOne merchant API instead of a separate build for each provider, and a checkout widget that takes each merchant's own styles.Koncierge
Pay money outMerchants schedule their payouts. Withdrawals go out in batches of up to 1,000 as a CSV file for the provider.AggloPay, Koncierge
Work across languages and currenciesMerchants receive payments in different currencies without extra setup, in English or French.AggloPay
Keep a full recordRecords are never erased, each party sees only its own data, and customer data is complete under Japan's anti-money-laundering rules.Koncierge

How to choose a fintech software development company

Money products have to pass payment provider checks and follow financial rules that most apps never meet. Ask any fintech software development company these questions, and ask for the project behind each answer. These are ours.

What to askWhy it mattersOur answer
Which payment providers and bank feeds have you worked with? Each provider has its own rules and security checks.Flutterwave for AggloPay. Stripe and a feed from Japanese banks for Koncierge.
Have you built under financial rules?A wrong data model breaks every report, settlement and withdrawal built on it.Koncierge works under Japan's anti-money-laundering rules, with full customer data on record.
How soon is a first working version? You see what users do before you spend the full budget.AggloPay took 2 months from first sketches. IPOPBOOKS, a bookkeeping service, went live 10 weeks after kickoff.
Can you build web and mobile?Your customers may want both.Grid Capital's web and iOS app for investors took 6 months.
What will it cost?A published rate lets you check any estimate. Our rate is $39-55 an hour, and the smallest build we take is $5,000.
